Tales Of Endearment

Like everyone traveling from New York to Europe for fashion week, I packed my suitcase full of wool dresses and sweaters. Last year was gruelingly cold and wet. But this year it’s summer in Milan and Paris…. Which leaves us fashion people a little bit desperate for appropriate outfits. So we go shopping. In Milan I stopped by Elio Ferraro, a beautiful gallery and vintage store with an affiliate in Florence I visited last summer. I took along Mr. Street Peeper to take some snaps.

Jil Sander was the most memorable show I saw in Milan. I love how even the minimal Raf Simons went retro for his last collection. I think it’s just another confirmation that vintage rules the fashion airwaves. Dolce did it. Marni did it. I rest my case.
