Let me tell you something about Sorel boots. They are miracles I tell you. Miracles! Not only do they keep your feet from turning into sad little clumps of ice – did it get cold or what! – they actually heat your feet! The more you shift around in there, the toastier your feet get. I admit, it’s sometimes a bit sweaty down there, but hey, better a sweaty foot than a dead foot. So while I recommend sporting Sorel boots this winter, I strongly discourage slumping around town in a silk gown. This outfit might look like a lot of fun – and whoohoo look how happy I am with those balloons!! – I was practically crying on those steps. The people at the Post Office thought I was nuts, and to be honest, I am a little, but it was all for a good cause: It’s Christmas y’all, and it’s time to DRESS THE EFF UP!!
