It was terribly un-French to wear American varsity in Paris, but it had to be done. I’ve developed an insatiable obsession with 70s flared pants and crop Ts and the only thing I could find that worked with my Milanese purchase was a vintage ‘Jackets’ cheerleader top at Espace Kiliwatch. I didn’t know I needed it, but I so did, as is the case with most of my vintage purchases. And what’s even better? The day I wore this outfit, I was spotted by an American guy at a cafe in Le Marais who went to the college that sported my uniform. He might have even worn it himself. Problem is: it seems there are two schools whose teams are named Jackets: Georgia Tech and Virginia’s Randolph-Macon College. Which one is mine from? Maybe you can tell me?
